We are excited to introduce the Henderson Silver Knights, our very own minor league hockey team, which now plays at the state-of-the-art Dollar Loan Center, affectionately known as the DLC. In addition, the newly established Lifeguard Arena focuses on developing youth hockey teams and provides another excellent facility for ice sports. The DLC will also host NBA draft events, various sporting events, and concerts, adding to our community’s vibrant entertainment options.
Education in Henderson is top-notch, with Coronado High School ranked 20th in the nation and many of the highest-rated Clark County schools located here. Additionally, 12 degree-granting institutions have established campuses in Henderson, further enhancing our educational landscape.

In 2022 alone, over 5,000 retirees chose to make Henderson their new home out of nearly 25,000 retirees who moved to Nevada.
