By 2009, both the Reflection Bay and The Falls golf courses had closed, and in 2010, the beloved Ritz-Carlton locked its doors. For a moment, the lake was still—and so were the dreams tied to it.

By 2011, new life began flowing back in. Hilton took over the shuttered Ritz, reopening it as the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. A new master plan was drawn up, golf returned to Reflection Bay, and in 2012, Raintree Investment Corp stepped in to guide Lake Las Vegas into a more stable, sustainable future.
What followed was a carefully curated revival that balanced respect for the area’s original vision with smarter development and lifestyle design.
